I raced BMX for several years and acquired over a thousand tropies for my efforts. After getting married and having kids, i realized i didn't really need them anymore nor did I have space for them. I donated all but a couple to the Special Olympics. It warms my heart to know some tard somewhere now has them.

It warms my heart to know some tard somewhere now has them. Yeah, I did the same with all my Moto-X, Baseball & Slo-pitch trophies, actually the wife made me do it! I still have most of my jerseys though she is riding me hard to part with them. I just don't want to see some derelict running around with my name on his back!

No shit. I got a company jacket for a christmas bonus one year (yeah, they sucked) and shortly thereafter I donated it to good will.
I saw a bum with MY jacket on later that year.

Many years ago - I worked for a crappy company that was just bought by yet another crappy company.
Well - they had all these hats with the old logo on them which they had planned to throw out.
We took the box and went to the yucky parts of SF and handed them out to homeless guys on the streets. For months, you would see these guys walking around SF in the old company hats.
LOL!!! That was fun!
