THE wheels came off in a manner of speaking for a radio DJ after he propositioned Jodie Marsh, the glamour model, on air (Michael Horsnell writes). Tim Shaw, 30, whose evening show is broadcast by Kerrang 105.2, the Birmingham heavy-metal station, said that he would leave his wife and two children for the Page 3 Girl. His wife, Hayley, retaliated by selling his £25,000 Lotus Esprit Turbo on the internet for 50p.
Mrs Shaw, 27, said that the interview was the last straw. After hearing him flirt with Ms Marsh, she put the car on eBay and included a Buy Now price tag. The description read: I need to get rid of this car immediately ideally in the next two to three hours before my . . . husband gets home to find it gone and all his belongings in the street. The car was snapped up within five minutes.
Mrs Shaw said: I am sick of him disrespecting this family for the sake of his act. The idiot put my name on the log book, so I just sold it.

Delivery it to the buyer may get a little sticky once hubby gets home. This won't end quite as smoothly as presented.

If I'd bought a lotus at that price, I would have already picked it up. Further, if I'd sold my husband's lotus for that price, it'd be down the road. Just an observation, and maybe that's just me....

This won't end quite as smoothly as presented.Apparently it did. This was reported previously, and since he put her name on the title (log book is what she called it), she had every right to sell it, and its a done deal.

Yep, now all he has to do is sell all her shoes for pennies... and so the vicious cycle continues.

"I need to get rid of this car immediately - ideally in the next 2-3 hours before my cheating arsehole husband gets home to find it gone and all his belongings in the street."
"I am the registered owner and I have the log book. Please only buy if you can pick up tonight."
Lesson to cheating husbands - don't put the car in wifey's name. I wonder why he did that anyway?

I think I'll browse e-bay for a bit...

According to the article, though, he didn't cheat. He flirted and "offered" to cheat, but he never did. The wife was just sick of his lack of respect. I'm not sure this punishment fits the crime.

Unless the wife is a total nutcase (which I have seen, in my time) this is not an isolated incident. I wouldn't have done it either, but I don't think this is the very first time he has disrespected their marriage.
I would guess there have been a few cookies on the side, over time.

Wow, sticks and stones, and all that...I think she may end up regretting this. However, with that being said, they do seem to share a similar emotional level of maturity. Maybe that's enough to keep them together. I do find it odd that it was in her name in the first place, if it was his car.
