Apprehension numbers are not the same as illegal immigration numbers

Expand for what reason? So foreign cultures can pay federal taxes?
If mexico could manage their own affairs and create a state without poverty, crime, corruption, and a massive drug trade, then I'd consider it a candidate for state #51. Erasing our borders will only spread those problems to here.

If you have a better way of estimating the number of illegals that enter the country, please let those of us that work in immigration law enforcement know. Apps are what we use.

Well! You can look at those numbers and conclude that Illegal Immigration is on the decline as well. It all depends if you look at the glass as half full or half empty.
Less apprehensions could also equate to as not as many border crossers to apprehend

Considering the increase in the number of Border Agents we have now, compared to what we had back in 2000, I think it's reasonable to conclude that the number of attempted illegal border crossings are down

You can look at those numbers and conclude that Illegal Immigration is on the decline as well. The only folks that would conclude that are the ones that don't live and work along the border. Those of us that do, know the truth.
Goodnight.

So you're telling me that you and your fellow border patrol officers are not doing your job as well as you did in 2000?

Of course the numbers are down from 2000. That's what I said in the beginning. As for the number of new Agents, we have about 1,000 more now, then in 2000 and not all are working along the southwest border.

"Both parties want the Hispanic vote."
I may seem a little off track here, but my observation of the Mexican lifestyle is one that is very prolific. Catholic dogma has taught them not to use contraceptives, so, whether or not they can afford to feed another mouth, they breed like rabbits. 15M today could more than quadruple in twenty years.
Amnesty and a few other entitlements should ensure that THEY not only have the vote, they have control.

Again, I don't think politicians are thinking twenty years ahead, not even five. While I don't know the exact figures, yes, the Hispanic population is growing very quickly, - far faster than the white or black segments, but that has little to do with the current posture of both parties.

We on track to apprehend lees then 50% of the FY 2000 total.
But is the border patrol working with the same efficiency now as then? There have been stories that we are dragging our feet purposely now? It appears to many of us that the government wants illegal immigration.

I can tell you that everyone I talk to sees 5 times the number of Hispanics in the public as they did just 2 years ago. The numbers have increased dramatically.

A war with Chinese will result in A LOT of dead Chinese.
And the funny part is, the Chinese know this and the idiots trolls, like yourself, don't.
