I live in Fairfax California. I have been for most of my life. I am fed up with the economy, the blackouts the crime and all the liberals. I am thinking of moving and I was wondering if any of you know a good place for an average joe like myself to live in. In a couple weeks I'll have enough money and I can take the greyhound out of here and move out of this dump. Im looking for a place where I can get jobs, not have nasty taxes, some good public transportation in a city and to other cities as well as low crime and good Bible believing churhes. Could any of you help me find a good one?
That one right there did it for me.
Unless you can come off like an illegal alien, I'd stay out of Maryland
sorry about the vanity. I'll remember next time.

what did I do? Im being honest as you can see.
Kerry? Is that you?
He sure is a serial member of that club, isn't he?
Well... maybe Fort Worth, Texas.
Housing, driving costs here lowest of 28 metro areas
Wednesday, June 15, 2005 By Joe Grata, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
< Pittsburgh finished lowest among 28 metropolitan areas for combined spending by households on the two biggest expenses in the family budget -- housing and transportation.
Some 45.8 percent of Pittsburghers' expenditures go for those two life necessities, according to the study "Driven to Spend," done jointly by the Surface Transportation Policy Project and the Center for Neighborhood Technology, pro-environment interest groups opposed to suburban sprawl.

An average 29.2 percent of income spent on housing ($12,310, including utilities and taxes) not only was the lowest nationally, but when combined with transportation was sufficient to drop Pittsburgh to the bottom of the list, No. 28 overall.
A separate look at the impact of higher gasoline prices showed Pittsburghers paid $233 more last year than they did in 2003, ranking 21st overall. By comparison, Los Angeles area drivers, at No. 1, paid out $316 more for gas.
The study sampled more than 1,000 households in each of the 28 metropolitan areas. In Pittsburgh, gross incomes averaged $52,988 per household, with $42,102 available for expenditures after taxes.

I can tell you for a fact that for a $100,000 in Pittsburgh, you can get a house that would cost 5 to 10 times that amount in California. The overall crime rate is probably the lowest in the nation as well.
yeah right. Im sorry I talked about my boss. I think most of you are aquainted with him and an old freind of his. His name was Patrick Phantirath, he got murdered by a bunch of arabs last year because he tried to bomb a Jewish monument to human rights and implicate Muslims and Right wing Christians. He wanted to start a race war against them and write about it on his website called phantirath weekly world news. He was nuts. Im really moving because I want to avoid these guys who want me dead for working with him.
Anywhere west of I-35 and north of I-20 in Texas.
well I gotta go thanks.
Gees ditto, the guy works at mickey d's, 100,000 is a little out of his grasp.
West Virginia is gorgeous and the cost of living is relatively low. It's got oodles of churches. Lots of yellow dog democrats, though, although that is beginning to change as they see that the Democratic party does not have the same values.
Yeah. . .that's pretty good advice.
LOL
That bill will never pass, and the governor is a lame duck. He's the only Dem we've had in the past 35 years or so, and most expect he will be replaced by a Republican.
Cedar Rapids, Iowa is definitely worth consideration, especially given the criteria loyal_republican54 mentioned.
