Washington, DC, Jun. 13 (UPI) -- Insider notes from United Press International for June 8
A former Bush team member during his first administration is now voicing serious doubts about the collapse of the World Trade Center on 9-11. Former chief economist for the Department of Labor during President George W. Bush's first term Morgan Reynolds comments that the official story about the collapse of the WTC is "bogus" and that it is more likely that a controlled demolition destroyed the Twin Towers and adjacent Building No. 7.

Well, for one thig, he's an economist from the Department of Labor. Not like he's tipping off any inside information. For another, if he served at all in 2000, he is not a Bush team member at all. President Bush didn't take office until 2001. And no, the piece could not be referring to him serving as a transition team member either: The Senate did not even certify the election results until January 3, 2001.
Real headline: Lunatic-Fringe Clintonite distrusts Bush administration.
No news.
Yeah, I'm sure this guy was in the loop - the Pierre Salinger loop.
I think it's on the same frequency that opens garage doors.
Don't know what to make of this just yet...any thoughts?

Bullshit!
Old news, HUAC.
The same story was posted here last night. The Dems must be reaaaalllllllllllllly reaching for ammunition. No matter how lame it, or its purveyor is.
Jack.
This is horseshit of the first order. When buildings burn, steel fails. That is why it is fireproofed.
The architects calculated that the WTC would fail after 4 hours when slammed into by a fully fueled Boeing 707, which was the largest airliner at the time. They were off by a couple of hours, but they had the mechanism right. The collapse of these towers was predictable and inevitable the moment they were hit. My first thought when I saw the fire in the first tower hit was that I hoped they would re-build it. It was obvious to me that that tower was doomed to collapse.
There is no mystery here. There is no need to speculate on phantom demolition teams. When you slam airliners into skyscrapers, the skyscrapers will fall, unless they are built to much higher standards. I guess we could prove that to this moron's satisfaction by slamming airliners into other modern buildings until he is convinced, but that would get rather expensive, wouldn't it?
==I thought the Washington Times was a clear-thinking newsrag that wouldn't publish kook theories as news.
I'm sure he's a crackpot...but are you honestly suggesting that the Wash. Times shouldn't make a not of it?
I knew you guys wouldn't dissapoint. I was laughing my arse off. Thanks--HUAC
The Washington Times, although a (relatively) conservative rag, is actually owned by a kook -- "Reverend" Sun Myung Moon
I happened to bump into the architect's son yesterday morning at breakfast. I should've gotten his take.
LOL, he's certainly not a candy kiss!!
Flag on the Moon, how did it get there?--Beast of Yucca Flats.
That's Reynolds aluminum foil
How could the President have such a creep on his staff?
Hardly Breaking News. This idiot has been pushung this since at least 2003.
As an engineer, he is a bad economist.
You are correct, of course, See post #27.
God, what a moron..........
Well, I first heard about this on my daily Moonbat Central mailing (CLG - Citizens for Legitimate Government - they refer to the President as Dictator Bush and are firm America Worst-ers).
I think this is another moonbat Wesley Clark theory. Phbbt.
did this guy not see the video of the airplane slamming into the building?
