I recently made an involuntary visit to the local hospital. One of the things which came out of that was that my potassium level is very low. Low enough that it is a cause for concern. They wanted to keep me overnight and infuse me. For various reasons, I could not do that. I went out AMA (against medical advice).
That still leaves me with the problem.
I know bananas are good, but I can only eat so many bananas. What else?
Well, that and getting beat up.
How are you feeling now? I once had a potassium of 2.4, and I wasn't even able to lift my arm up (muscle weakness is a sign of low potassium). If you are still not feeling well, you really should see a doctor.
I was 2.9. I guess that is low, but I was feeling okay. My main problem is alcohol withdrawal (as in seizures). But there are other things that go along with that.
If you are still not feeling well, you really should see a doctor.
I'm convinced.
Finding one I like and who knows about all this is another matter. Not so easy.
You and I have hit a couple times. I hope you are doing well.
Listen to your doctors.
