Prayer requested for the niece of trussell

I need to ask for prayers for my niece.
She is 22 years old, and was in a very serious auto accident today.

Her legs were pinned, and her upper body was thrown sideways. Her doctor says there is a blood clot in her leg, and her muscle in her leg is like ground meat.

They are observing her, but have not chosen to do surgery.

She lied and claimed responsibility for the accident because the other driver was a 15 year old who was speeding and talking on a cell phone. My niece didn't want the younger girl to get in trouble.

My sister has tried to talk to the police about this, but they wont let her submit a statement because she wasn't a witness to the accident. She is trying to tell the police what her daughter told her, so they can investigate the scene and find the truth.

Praise God my great nephew wasn't in the car with her. He is just barely a year old, and was with his grandma (my sister) when the accident happened.

Both cars are totaled!

Wow. Sounds like a very responsible, caring young woman. Will pray hard for her. Thank GOD she is young and can heal faster than the rest of us. And YES...thank God the one year old was NOT in the car. God IS good!

Such a wonderful soul she must have to want to take blame for this...but ultimately, the truth does come out.

Heavenly Father,

We are gathered together on behalf of Cassy who is in need of Your powerful healing. You are well aware of everything that has taken place and You know the exact extent of her injuries. You know the size of the blood clot, the number of fibers that are damaged in her muscle, the very number of drops of blood she has lost. We confess that You are directing the actions of the doctors even as we pray. Father, surely Your hand willingly extends to this precious young woman to heal her and to restore her completely. Though it was not Your will for her to be hurt, You allowed this disturbing event for a reason. Now we pray that all Your purposes will be fulfilled in Cassy so that she can honor You with her testimony and grow in her walk with You as she experiences victory over all these circumstances. We place her in Your arms with confidence, knowing there is no better place in all the world for her to be. Comfort sweet trussell and give heed to her passionate prayers, Father. She has always been so willing to pray for others, and now we who know of her faithfulness, lift her up to You, asking for Your strength and peace to flood her spirit. All this we place at Your feet in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
