THE BEST AND WORST OF THE 1980s (vanity)
Pissant/SSCPOW Research Center | 6/6/05 | SilentServiceCPOWife & Pissant

Posted on 06/06/2005 10:03:49 AM PDT by pissant

After receiving numerous complaints that the 1970s sucked and were not worthy of a vanity thread, here at the Pissant/CPOWife Research Center we've decided to select a decade that had more worthwhile activities to ponder. Though many positive events developed during the 1980s, there were plenty of stink-bombs as well. To further our research, we encourage everyone to participate in this scientific survey.

Without further ado, the Best and Worst of the 1980s:

LOL I went to Longwood. It may have been 1987. My memory of that time is somewhat hazy.

That (Fast times...) was the only worthwhile thing Pheobe Cates ever did.

I disagree. She did another movie Paradise that was a ripoff of Blue Lagoon. Pretty poor on plot but full of pretty Pheobe. I also liked Drop Dead Fred.

Nope, never saw them. Nothing beats Judge Reinhold's fantasy where she is getting out of the pool.

BTW the best thing about the 80's is that I met my wife.

No, I don't remember seeing Indecision. I did see several bands during my time there, but Guadalcanal Diary is one of the few that I've continued to listen to.

Egads. Preppies. I went to an exclusive school and had to beat the crap out of a few preppies. Took their women too!

Yeah, what you said.

I know about Kim Catrall, I was referring to Porky's as a different movie.
