After receiving numerous complaints that the 1970s sucked and were not worthy of a vanity thread, here at the Pissant/CPOWife Research Center we've decided to select a decade that had more worthwhile activities to ponder. Though many positive events developed during the 1980s, there were plenty of stink-bombs as well. To further our research, we encourage everyone to participate in this scientific survey.

In the first incarnation (1982-1985) there was no host, per say. Just a narrative voice that introduced the clips.

The weird thing about that video, is that it was made for the Andrew Dice Clay flick "Ford Fairlane." But when the Diceman was banned by MTV, they had to replace all the scenes showing the Diceman in it.I just realized that I was confusing "Cradle of Love" with "To Be A Lover". It would be a little weird for a girl to love the "Cradle of Love" video.
