New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Nighty night to you both!
I'm gonna try and get some sleep too.
See ya tomorrow.
Still, it's readable, and quite subdued. Anybody who gets one should be thrilled. Corin, do I have that address for that young Marine?
Don't be so hard on yourself :(
I was going to post an update about my reading but somehow I felt that was inappropriate given this conversation. Please take care of yourselves. My father died of liver cancer at 79. He hated drinking water and taking vitamins and was incredibly stubborn (didn't want to give up his cigar). I think chemotherapy killed himself imho from what my mother told me about his treatment. My mom had to have a hysto for fibroids too. I don't eat any meat though I have a little milk in coffee. Otherwise, I exercise and try to enjoy life and believe it or not since my helpmeet-of-the-future told me that he loved me dearly my health has improved vastly.
There's more I can say but it's four AM and I just woke up :-)
Enjoy life without meat?! :)
I try to eat more healthy, but when faced with a chocolate chip cookie I start thinking "I might die in a wreck this afternoon. Better have the cookie while I can."
You've got freepmail.
Well, thanks for all the cheery health updates. ;-)
Seriesly, I feel ~pretty~ good about the diagnosis. It's happened before, just not this bad. Plus when I had the endoscopy a couple of years ago (when I was doing that arthritis study), the hiatal hernia showed up.
That said, I feel like a blasted pharmacy this morning. I'm poppin' more pills than Nana.
This week's project is to start looking into how to control weight, arthritis, cholesterol and acid reflux through nutrition. I don't want to live on these drugs. (and yes, I know that controlling the first one is a HUGH part of controlling the other three)
We are not optimistic about our culinary future.
Just think how many people on the Titanic skipped dessert.

Thanks Stinky. I can always count on you.

We'll be cheery now... Tell us about your reading!
Yeah, I remembered that Stephen is just a little younger than Clare. He's a cutie!
LOL!! Life's uncertain; eat dessert first!
Sorry I missed you last night. I actually got to bed before midnight for a change!
Morning G'nad - that's a nice one ya got there. hmmm. Archery-swift, silent, deadly. Gottaluvit.
Morning Corin - I could have share some more but figured it would just be piling on. To paraphrase Gandalf-All we have to do is to decide what to do.
Loading up half-moon clips here.
