Hey, I watched that show! Forgot all about it. Kathy Lee Crosby, Fran Tarkenton, and David somebody. I actually liked that show.

No No No! Sarah Purcell, Skip Neilson? and somebody else. You are thinking about the ABC version young'n.

I always enjoyed the way Sarah and Skip flirted.

My family actually OWNED a dark green Pinto! What were my p's thinking?!?!? ::shaking head in disbelief::

I was born in 1972 but I do remember Dorothy Hamill - the hair, the spin... remember Bruce Jenner, too. (I was glued to the TV during the olympics). I remember the daily Hostage count on the radio news... And dancing to the BeeGees in my friend's living room (his mom's album!) LOL

Favorite remembrances of the 1970s had to be the bicentennial parade which my friends and I prettied up our trikes to ride in, and of course; Star Wars...

Actually I'm remembering more and more as I sit here and think about it... could go on and on... LOL

My dream car. 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T convertible.

And how many videotapes of Vanishing Point have you worn out by now? Personally, I'm working on my third. -:)

Do you remember bicentennial fire plugs? Most had been painted over by 1986, but not all of them.

I read once that while Fred Grandy was in Congress, people used to tick him off when they got on the elevator with him and asked for "Promenade deck" and "Aloha deck." Probably one of those jokes that was only funny the first 847 times....

In other "Love Boat" trivia, I believe the guest who holds the record for most appearances was Charo... and I've read that she's a classically trained guitarist who speaks several languages.
