Go to
http://www.everythingisnt.com/hosts.html and install the hosts file (or use their handy installer.) The file blocks the majority of annoying ad hosts. A few websites don't work perfectly afterward - tvtome.com is alas one of them (it won't display the page until the ad is pulled. *sigh*)
And bookmarking this so I don't have to hunt down this very useful website again.

Huh? You may want to update your firefox. I never see the banner ads...,aybe because I used a broad wildcard for the banner.

I like Matt, but he is obviously whoring a penny everywhere he can.
I guess he figures that he should strike while the irons hot, since he doesn't know when his big money days will stop.
I do avoid his site more than I used to because of his pop-ups, but it is his site and he can do whatever he wants.
So far he enjoys the 100k or so a month that gets him.

get the new firefox or mozilla browser. I'm pretty sure they block Drudge's popups.

How to block Drudge popups:

You may want to drill down through the links on that page and read the related threads as well, depending on how interested you are in learning about alternate methods of blocking.
