Saving Private Ryan is awesome, thats a film I respect. I think you know when I say "movies are for morons" I mean this dopie teeny weeny goofy crap. The movie you describe is about a serious subject and not for teeny boopers.
Presumably, and almost as poor at acting as at her activism, as this article seems to imply.
Rottentomatoes ratings can be way off sometimes.....the critics can hate a movie that is actually very good.
Don't know about this movie though. I might go see it, maybe not. So many movies about families fighting-- just get tired of it.
Jane has always been one of the better actresses in Hollywood. Too bad her politics is junk.
We will know by tomorrow when all of the big papers come in, doesn't look good though!
'Gigli' checks in at 7%, so this one still has a ways to go...
I might see the new Jet Li movie, as well as the new Batman and War of The Worlds.
When is the new 007 movie coming out? Oh..not till christmas 06.
Oh yea...Ben & J Lo....."America's couple"
Have you seen her in "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" and also "Klute"?
Both were great performances by her.
She had a few flops, just like everyone else out there.
I checked "Rotten Tomatoes" and "Monster-In-Law" was at 17%. I read all of the reviews and Refreshed the site. The film has climbed to 22%.
I guess WaPo and The Slimes wrote favorable reviews.
While "Sin City" has stayed constant at 78%.
Jack.
And Star Wars Ep. 3 in two weeks.
Jane has yet to turn in a "great" performance. They Shoot Horses and Klute were merely adequate, not good.
I've been waiting to see "Downfall". I couldn't get to the theater to see it, so I have to wait until Netfix gets it.
Back to 17% at the moment; I just checked. Looks like it really sucks; even Roger Ebert The Big Fat Liberal hates it (one star).
Guess it's just a matter of personal opinion.
