Could Someone help me obtain congressional E-mails, I verymuch wish to Tell the Senate to stop the hearings and wasteing time with investigation into league policies and abuses of steroids. The Leagues have an obligation to police themselves, Why does congress need to pass laws mandating policy of sports entertainment. Colud they please pass a law (Enforceable)preventing the Fleesing of America, and the misuse and accountability of our Tax Dollars>
Spell check is our friend.
I guess the league don't give a rip about enforcing league policy.
First, you need to polish up you spelling and grammar.
Second, if you can find FR on the internet, surely you can look up the congressional sites. Try looking up The White House.
Meeky, alert, alert!!
What, such a suggestion? Don't you realize that this is A TOP PRIORITY IN THIS COUNTRY -- steroids in baseball. What else should the Congress be working on? Don't tell me they should be wasting their time, working on trivial issues such as FIXING THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION ISSUE for the citizens of this country, and reducing governemnt waste and spending. Absurd!!! (/sarcasm)
The leagues should be doing what school administrators seem to be doing as of late. Take the troublemakers into the front office, handcuff em, drop their drawers and whip their fanny's until their fanny's are ruby red.
I think you need some rest... still awake are you?
You took this vanity seriously. ROTFLOL!
you = your
I went to bed when you said you were going to bed! That was after the Airbus went on a joyride through the blue French skies. LOL! I've been up about 4 hours now. :)
Welcome to FreeRepublic.com.
Your horse is "high"? Tsk, Tsk.
Are you from Boston? When my wife gets around other Bostonians, she misplaces her Rs, too.
; )
LOL-LOL-LOL... you did? Well, good.
All I need do, is turn on that long rendition of Sky Pilot you sent to me --- the instrumental part in the middle is sort of sad with the bagpipes, --- but before the 7 and 1/2 minute song concludes, I am sound asleep. Works every time.
How come postings like this are always so poorly written?
Welcome to Free Republic. Here is my nice and handy guide for new users:
New User Rules of Thumb
This is actually a quite friendly place once you realize some basic rules of thumb:
Don't post duplicate threads
Don't use this as an advertising place
Don't expect it to be a debating society, cause it's not.
Don't post and run. This gets more people marked as trolls than anything.
Don't use it as a place to do your homework.
Don't post in the wrong area.
When in doubt, use your spell checker.
Use the preview function to make sure your paragraphs are there.
Be respectful of the fact that many people who post here love guns, God, and the Constitution.
Viking kitties can be your friends.
Best way to get a feel for it is to get involved with discussions on threads and read a lot of what is being posted.
It's really not necessary to lurk for 6 months, rumour to the countrary!
Special vocabulary:
Zot - when the moderators declare a troll has posted, and the game of pile up on the thread takes place. Frequently symbolized by a lightning strike or an atomic explosion.
Viking Kitties - the ones who do the zotting for the mods! (a great game!)
BTTT - back to the top - when you want to bump a post back up, usually because you don't have the time to read it, but want it on your "My Comments" section.
Hugh - inhouse joke for huge
very series - inhouse joke for very serious
all your base are belong to us (I suggest you google that one. Great fun!)
Stuned - inhouse joke. Stunned, usually used in a humourous or sarcastic way, usually by a "beeber like device"
And finally:
DO NOT EVER POST A WHOLE MESSAGE IN ALL CAPS.
Remember, paragraphs are your friends.
Beware the spelling and grammar nazis. Good content will keep them at bay some times, but not always.
Why isn't this in Breaking News???
Quit "wasteing" bandwidth!
Sky Pilot is definately more soothing than reading the rantings of a malodorous troll!
WHY THE HELL NOT?
:)
