No kidding! It reminds me of all of the "premier passes" that the talk show hosts have. I mean, Limbaugh can charge $60 a year, but others are losing money charging so much. Charge a little less and more people will buy it.

They and their GHETTO stadium

What the hell do you mean by that?

Yankee Stadium is a run down, raunchy hellhole in the middle of the ghetto. The best thing about it is the view of the Courthouse from behind home plate.

All A-Rod needs is a solo homer to complete the homerun cycle?

You got me. I have no idea. :)

Yankee Stadium has more history and tradition than any other place in baseball bar none. Secondly, Yankee Statium is not a hell hole. When was the last time you were there?

Presumably, the homerun cycle is 4 homeruns, one of each type: solo, 2-run, 3-run, grand slam.

I don't think so, but they just may need to create one now :)

Last may. It is filthy and has never quite recovered from that A-s ugly makeover from back in the 1970s.

Want an old stadium with class, go to Wrigley. Want a modern stadium with good food and better sightlines no matter where you sit, go to Safeco.

Good for Alex. The Yank-offs will still choke and may not even make the playoffs this season.

Why don't you just come up with a macro of your usual screed to save time, since you post it in every single Yankees thread. Besides, you forgot to call A-Rod gay, the way you usually refer to him and Jeter.

I like history in a park. Tiger stadium was great and I didn't think I would like Comerica park but my wife and I went there last season and were amazed at how nice that place was. Still I hated to lose the history of Tiger stadium.

Has anyone ever hit a home-run cycle?

4 home-runs is rare
the cycle is rare
A home-run cycle would be very rare.
