The Republican Party is the France of politics.

Why wait for facts? Just run on out the door and join the Democrats. Hillary's waiting for you.I can never vote for a Democrat (exception: Zell Miller). But I won't bother to vote at all if there's no difference in the parties.

Welcome to the light. I was where you are in 1988 and have voted Libertarian ever since. Hey! Thanks for all those candidates you guys have elected to national positions.
Both of the real parties are just shaking in their boots because you've taken so many seats.

I'm with you, Laz. I still vote Republican (lesser of two evils and all that), but I would NEVER give the GOP any of my $$ to waste.

Normal frustration. Take that energy, get on your county GOP committee, and demand change locally. That will filter up.

I held my nose and voted republican almost exclusively in 04 because I was afraid of electing a democrat. Frankly I don't see the point in doing it again.

Laura Ingraham said it best-no more $$$ to the RNC until a stand is taken.

I disagree that the Republicans
should have gone for the nuclear option. But I agree they are wimps. Before going nuclear, they should have actually forced the Democrats to carry out their filibuster threat. As it is, the Republicans caved despite there being no actual filibuster!
But Republicans and Democrats both were afraid to hold up the work of the Senate in stuffing their barrels with pork, thus, no filibuster.
It is pathetic.
Just vote pro-freedom. Sometimes that will be Republican, sometimes it won't. But it will never mean you'll be voting Democrat.

Everything the Republicans stand for, they stand for in word only.Bump!

We all have our internal bars set to different levels.
Mine hasn't been hit yet, but its getting closer.

Premature rejectulation? LOL. I'm sure Joycelyn Elders would approve as long as there is a hand involved.

I'll have to report you for abuse and zotting. Remember, 9/11 changed everything and if you don't support the President you don't support the troops.
To: Just another Joe
You guys are making a big mistake! The Republicans will vote to end rules on filibuster. We have the 51 vote. Sens. Warner will be with us. He is holding out but will vote with us. I wrote Sen. Warner and Allen both will vote with their party on this issue. The democrats are in a hole and can't get out.

I'm genuinely surprised and elated at the response I've gotten so far. I expected a bunch of "Don't let the door hit ya where the Good L-rd split ya" but instead I'm recieving a lot of agreement. The Republican Party better take note of the incredible dissatisfaction in their party.

I am getting pretty much sick of the whining and crying on FR, back in the day we would not have put up with this and flood Frist's Office with call, but now people would rather post about bolting and not pick up the phone or email their Senator, Frist and Reid might hammer out a deal, but it will be our fault for not making Frist say no. Rather than bolting we should have the balls to show the Republicans in Washington that those polls are bullsh*t!!!
