The Hobbit Hole XXI - ...Towards the Moon or to the Sun.

Posted on 04/21/2005 6:44:57 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...Towards the Moon or to the Sun.

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

JenB - Spidey 2 - very good movie! My sis in law LOVES Toby McGuire. I was very impressed by it.

ExGeeEye - nitey nite! Im always coming in late or when everyone else is away. I try not to, but it always works out that way.

what is a good online movie store? is there one better than Amazon.com?

I got LSA her wok in the late '70s.

I got mine when we were living in NJ, and well before we moved up here, so I must have had mine about 20 years now. It's nice and 'seasoned'.

Yes! Deepdiscountdvd.com is usually close to 45% off list price. And it's legit, no bootleg dvds. Free shipping, too. I buy my anime from them.

In RL, Best Buy is actually about the cheapest, they're cheaper than amazon.

I cannot WAIT to see that movie!! I recognize the mountains in the background from LOTR, and WETA Workshops did the special effects for this one, too. I wonder who's doing the score.

Are they really nicer to cook in than just a plain skillet when it comes to stirfry?

Good morning! Have we missed anything in here?

Last night was our big TV night, with the finals in Jeopardy starting and the season finale of 24 and all... and I'm a little behind
