The Hobbit Hole XXI - ...Towards the Moon or to the Sun.

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...Towards the Moon or to the Sun.

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

You could get one of those feeders with the bin attached....or just leave the bag open so she can crawl in there.

I found some small bottles of Gallo Merlot and White Zin, in four packs when we went to Anime Boston. They're likely to have Red Zin available that way too. Of course, it's not as inexpensive as buying a full bottle.

That's what I bought for New Year's Eve....can't drink a whole "real bottle" myself at one sitting. And flat champagne sucks.

Evening Sam, back in time for hurricanes. Jane Goodall, fascinating choice of a speaker. Glad the graduates could have some fun with that.

Heh...

Well, I went home with the waitress
The way I always do
How was I to know
She was with the Russians, too

I was gambling in Havana
I took a little risk
Send lawyers, guns and money
Dad, get me out of this

I'm the innocent bystander
Somehow I got stuck
Between the rock and the hard place
And I'm down on my luck
And I'm down on my luck
And I'm down on my luck

Now I'm hiding in Honduras
I'm a desperate man
Send lawyers, guns and money
The sh!t has hit the fan

Send lawyers, guns and money...

:-)

We're 4/4. Been having your temps (a bit early) with Jen and Rosie humidity (pretty unusual). Everything naturewise is about a month early.

A month early is pretty extreme. The last 2 years some of our migratory fish showed up a month late for their spring visits.

Good night everyone.

JenB - Spidey 2 - very good movie! My sis in law LOVES Toby McGuire. I was very impressed by it.

ExGeeEye - nitey nite! Im always coming in late or when everyone else is away. I try not to, but it always works out that way.

what is a good online movie store? is there one better than Amazon.com?
