We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
A new Pope is elected, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger who has chosen the name, Pope Benedict XVI. The libs are whining already about how it could result in continued internal dissension within the church.
President Bush will more than likely be naming Marine Gen. Peter Pace as the next chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Pace will be replacing Air Force Gen. Richard B. Myers. You served us well General Myers. You will be missed.
John Boltons nomination as ambassador to the United Nations is postponed. Remember the names Republican Sens. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska and George Voinovich of Ohio. They are wimping out on us.

A great start to the day, lysie!
And, Molly, thanks for the grand job you've done the last couple of days. We promise not to tell Chair that the thread got just a wee bit out of control from time to time ... LOL!
I hadn't heard that Gen. Myers was stepping down. Yes, he will be missed!

Captains Quarters blog has some interesting takes on various subjects this morning.
On the Voinovich betrayal, he tends to put the responsibility on Frist. And his segment about Putin resurrecting Stalin's image as a great leader, and Russian communities erecting statues of him is good too.

GOOD A.M. GOOD ALL FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!
I was busy yesterday, forgot to log in and tell everyone HI. was one of those 'I'll do it later' kind of days, later never came.
Just a little prayer for me if you can fit it in, I go to the doctor and noon for some pictures on the ole heart to determ if I will have to have more tests. Anytime they mess with my heart I get just a little concerned.
We got one more side of the post braced, one more to go before putting the wire up, THEN I am going to start looking for gd a horse. She told me all about it yesterday, what kind of horse she wanted, WHY she wanted the Tenn. walking horse. what kind of saddle she NEEDED (at that stage where everything is needed), what type of riding clothes. My youngest daughter it was a Moped, which we still have. My oldest d is another story.
I was a Chief of Police when oldest daughter had her first date in Pearl, MS. Thought I would play a joke on the lad. I invited him in and then told him 'up against the wall' and patted him down. Strange, that boy never did come back to date her. She completely avoided me like I had the crudes and Treva was not pleased at all with me as well, I learned fast you don't mess with girls who are going on their first date.
Coffee time in the ole household, will talk to you later. Toby
