How has your day been? You were out in the greenhouse, huh?
Yes, I have a Phillips head, I had to use it to take a bird house off the front of the garage today, I scraped the front of the garage this morning, I will do the south side tomorrow afternoon if it doesn't rain.
Out in the greenhouse too.
Goodnight Lysie.
Anybody else just catch the LA Times reporter on Bill O'Ego? Great interview about the guy's new book "South Park Republicans" where he goes into great detail about media bias and their propping up of Err America while slamming FNC.
I TiVo'ed it
Over 200 posts how did I know you guys would be here?
Tomorrow, please ping me so I can catch up. I've been lost all day, trying to find everyone, until you took pity on me and told me where everyone was/is. Thankx.
I guess Iowa Granny forgot her usual caution to play nicely while she is away from the computer ... or she said it and was ignored ... LOL!
How's your migraine? After giving me a morning relatively pain-free, mine came back about 11 AM. Did you guys see the black smoke from the Sistine Chapel? I had just accessed the web cam as that vote was announced. I am praying for God's wisdom for the Cardinals.
New Thread - Day 1550 When You're ready!
The downside was that I spent most of today feeling groggy; but I feel pretty good now.
I saw only very briefly a re-play of the black smoke. When I'm headache-y I can't stand to watch TV. It makes it worse.
Charlotte is mourning the loss of a local football hero. Sam Mills lost his two year battle with cancer today. He was one of the original Panthers and a tremendous inspiration to the team and, indeed, the whole city/region. When he retired as a player, a statue of him was put in front of the stadium and he remains the only player thus far named to the Panthers Hall of Fame. He stayed with the team as a coach after his playing days were over, appearing on the sidelines on game days even as he was going through chemo and radiation. May the Lord welcome him Home and watch over his widow and 4 children!
Sam Mills was one of the finest players the Saints ever had. He was a charter member of the "Dome Patrol", the Saints linebacker corps which was the best in the NFL in the late 80s and early 90s. Jim Mora had some monster defenses in those years, and the linebackers were the anchor. He was a truly class act.
Easy for you to do, you've got the knack!
Yesterday in SLC, it was 76 degrees. Today it was 36 degrees and it snowed. It's supposed to snow later on this week. Very strange spring. We need the moisture (every Utahn's mantra), but still...
I've been on the same kick. I eat a ceasar salad every day for lunch, with grilled chicken. Yum.
My parents just had new windows put in their home. It really makes a huge difference in how the house looks, and will be really good for energy efficiency. My dad and brothers will put a bay window in the living room window, no contractor will take the job on (right now the living room window is an ordinary, rather large window.)
