#17 Ping!
I've watched that video several times since discovering it 2 days ago. I laugh harder and harder every time!
The saddest part is, I'm starting to like the music! hahaha. This coming from a hard-rocker. =P
If the nitrogen or argon vessels came back in with product I used to hook a metal hose to the dip-tubed liguid outlet and used it to "sweep" the dock. Gaseous N2 blew the dust into the air and then right back down. The liquid would adsorb (not a typo) the dust and then roll right off of the dock leaving it clean as a whistle.
One guy actually froze a dirty little rat in liquid O2 and then threw him against a cinder block wall. Blew an approx. 10" x 10" hole through it. As we all know, mixing O2 with hydrocarbons is NOT a good idea.
Ahhh ..... those were the days.
I knew you had potential for bigger and better boomage !
Freep mail !
My younger brother did this very same thing in our backyard back when we were teenagers. It blew him back on his butt about 6-8 feet and singed him good. It wasn't the first time he submitted his application for a Darwin Award, but he never did quite qualify.
We had a fatality involving nitrogen - we had two different types of N2 on the line - lopack (low pressure) and hipack (high pressure). He forced an adapter on to the hipack system, and tried to air up the nosewheel on an F-16. That much pressure in that small a space resulted in an explosive failure of the tire and wheel. When you're a foot away from something like that - it tends to do a lot of damage.
As far as O2, they showed us a video of what happens when you use greasy tools with O2 - they called the result "Pizza Man."
That's one way to start a fire. Too bad they didn't enjoy it.
That video should be in the next "Vonage - People Do Stupid Things" commercial. ;-)
Here's my nomination for the first official "UNNNGH!" video clip. I'm still laughing about it. (Mute it if you have a problem with the Wallflowers cover of the song "Heroes.")
Gawd, I love being a FReeper. I will use this newfound knowledge to the utmost of my ability. BRB, I'm going down to see my welders!
One of my mechanics tried to blow the snow out of a greasy glove using the oxy side of a torch. It was hillarious, and thankfully he did not have his hand in the glove, but he needed a new pair of gloves
It's a classic. :)
LOL on the rat!!
Thank you!! That is the best laugh I have had in months.
You're welcome! Haha, I can't stop watching that video! Watch it shortly after you wake up and you'll be in a good mood all day!
If you like, I could probably find the guy on the synthesizer and get his phone number for you.
...okay...maybe silicone implants do have a purpose on earth after all...
LOL!!!
Mr. Data, Make it so!
ping for the man
