I just happened to watch the DVD of Bate's presentation about UFO's from AIG last week. He in no way associates God with UFO's and does nothing to discredit God at all, IMO.
Guess I'll have to check out the AIG site.
But Christians are going to have to have their relationship with God and their capacity to hear His voice; and Scriptures hidden in their hearts firmly enough that the coming reality/paradigm shifts foisted upon the world will not shake their faith.
The ET presence is going to be a significant but only part of what will be rocking philosophical and theological boats.

Not where I was going with it. I doubt the book talks about physical "ET's" from other planets at all. It likely highlights the spiritual battle going on, as described plainly in the scriptures. The "alien abductions" is probably satan's enslavement of those not in Christ, who are called "alien sinners." Evolution, Francis' Crick's "UFO-panspermia" theory, and non-Christains' fascination with "something else out there", are the result of rejecting God's word and creating fairy tales to explain our existence.
