Michael Schiavo's lawyer, Felos, just slammed Fr. Pavone of Priests for Life, for "speaking venom," among other accusations.

Felos suggests living wills. I suggest health care proxies. Appoint someone you trust to make the decisions for you. If you are a newly wed, you may want to appoint your parents.

The knowledge that 8 people were in the room and Terri only knew 1 of them is absolutely horrific.

It reminds me of Hitchcock's movie "The Rope" where two young men kill a friend just for the thrill of having power over life and death. The two then throw a party to celebrate their achievement with the coffin serving as banquet table. (The movie is worth seeing, by the way.)

Someone should ask Felos if he communed with Terri's spirit as he wrote that he has done in the past. In today's WSJ, he is quoted as writing that he caused a plane to go into a nosedive with him mind. He's insane.

There is no assessment that the nursing staff have to do at the time of death! Felos is sucha a LIAR!!!

The hospice staff can easily verify whether that was done.

In the last 15-20 minutes before she died, her brother was told to leave the room for 'an assessment.' He objected, and the cops hauled him out of there to coincide with MS and his freak attorney circus to get in the room for the final breaths.
