I am a high heal kind of man luv them
What does this mean??
Overalls rule!
As we get older, we get smarter. I gave up heels years ago. I will say though that even low heeled shoes gave me problems when I stood in boots for over 7 hours on Inauguration Day!
High heels are torture devices. I can't wear them - first off, I'm a clutz, so I'll trip and fall. Second I have flat feet so high heels are literally torture. If my foot is forced into a curve, like some high heels I've worn do, I get sharp crippling pains.
No big deal. I wear sneakers or boots almost everywhere, with flats for church. Too bad, I could use a couple extra inches of height.
High heels work well with stockings, too.
Stockings, in turn, often held in place by a garter belt.
Etc.
All in all, positive things.
So whereas the podiatrist may stress the physiologic detriments of high heels, please consider other, equally important positive viewpoints.
High heels anyone? (Not safe for work)

Personally I am not the least bit attracted to or overly interested in women's footwear of any kind. It might be good advice to avoid guys who are.
It's not pretty.
I don't often wear high heels but darned if I going to work orthopedic shoes when I dress up. I have to laugh at the posts since I am breaking in a pair of ice skates. I can now skate about 30 to 40 minutes in them now but I tell you when my feet tell me they've had enough I ready to leave the rink and put on my tennies. I have had several sessions of heating them with my blow dryer and then wearing them around the house. This is a much better idea then putting them on while wearing wet socks.
I thought they only wore them for pictures,,,shows what I know..BTW, they make what clothes look good?
My mother-in-law, now 89, cannot comfortably wear flat shoes because she wore high heels for over 60 years. She also falls down alot now because she can't walk properly barefoot or in flat 'old lady shoes'. She also has ugly thick toe nails; now I know they are from her years of wearing high heels.
All you men who are fan of heels, think about what you are condemning your women to in their later years.
Even if they look nice, I can only picture what one of those sharp heels would do to a little toddler foot. My baby is always hanging onto or hovering near my legs. No way. Beauty is not worth the risk.
LOL! I love heels. I might feel differently if I had to wear them all day, every day, but since I don't... heh heh.
My loafers or just sock feet during the day, and then I turn up the wattage when Mr. Ex gets home...change clothes to include the shoes. He appreciates the effort (LOL) and it helps me shift out of "mommy mode".
*big grin*
The one pair of heels I still own are these, in red. I don't remember why I bought them, but I can't bring myself to throw them out without wearing them somewhere at least once...Problem is, there's nowhere to go in them.
Mr. Colorcountry likes mine bare...the feet too.
Ohhhh... I love wearing heels. :-) OR going barefoot. One or the other and anything in between is not exciting.
I'm anxious to get back into my heels. I'm having to learn to walk all over again after a collision and really tired of ugly flat sensible shoes. ~sigh~
