None of those episodes are as good as the episode of Bewitched where Endora casts a spell on Darren, and he starts acting real goofy until Samantha figures it out.

Remember that one episode of Hogans Heros where Hogan distracts Klink while some Allied soldiers escape through the Stalag 13 tunnels? That was great.

I also like the episode of "I Dream of Jeannie" when Jeannie blinks Major Nelson into a really weird outfit just before Doctor Bellows comes over.

Yeah, but that episode is just a rip-off of the classic Bewitched episode where Endora changes Darren into a really weird animal just before Mr. Tate arrives at the restaurant with a new client.

Roseanne? You gotta be kidding. She never ran out of gas. She's the poster girl for perennial flatulence.

That was good, but my favorite was the 'Gilligan's Island' episode where this unusual visitor happens to land on the island and has a way to get off the island. All the castaways get their hopes up, but Gilligan and his crazy antics ruins it for everyone, except for the visitor, who manages to get off the island without any trouble.

You guys are missing the boat. The best episode was on the Mary Tyler Moore show when Lou was yelling at Ted and Mary was having an akward date.

If we add British comedies to the mix, then "Are You Being Served?" and "Keeping Up Appearances" have to be on the list If we add Britcoms to the list, two-thirds of the American comedies go right out the window.
And then the list would have to include Fawlty Towers.
For my money, Carol Burnett's show is listed far too low. Wonderful, and clean, humor.

Well, I can't argue with that, although the episode of
The Jeffersons where George lets someone important to his business insult Lionel or Weezy, but comes to his senses and throws them out of the apartment has to rank in the top five.
In drama, I like the episode of Gunsmoke, where Matt's been shot and is in big trouble, and Miss Kitty's worried about him.

I guess I have personal reasons for not appreciating Seinfelds humor. In the two episodes I watched part of, one was based on how funny it was to call in phony pizza orders. The other was about calling in phony calls for a cab. I have worked both jobs and utterly failed to see the humor.

Malcolm in the Middle. For something to be really funny, versus slapstick funny, it has to be intelligently written.

How about that great episode of Bonanza where Little Joe is about to ask the girl to marry him but before the question can be popped she gets killed.
