Never watched SOAP. I think it was chick TV, but I'm just guessing.

I agree, pissant: "The Benny Hills Show" should definitely be in the Top 5.

Never got the hang of "Seinfeld"

Where's "Taxi"?

Jack.

I like that one episode of Three's Company, where Janet overhears Chrissy and Jack talking, misunderstands the topic, and thinks they are sleeping together.

... was the most powerful railroad-based artillery piece in the war, heaving one-ton shells nine miles, accurately.

See, I like Seinfeld. I'm a New Yorker, and have that wry, F.U. kind of sense of humor that they have.

There was this one episode where Chrissy overhears Jack and Janet talking, and thinks they are sleeping together. That was the best!

I liked the one where Mr. Roper overhears Janet and Mrs. Roper, that took the cake...

'WKRP' is missing from the list.

'Moonlighting' was technically not a comedy, but was usually very funny. Funnier than Bossom Buddies

NewsRadio" (save for the final season) was the single greatest American comedy ever on TV.

It certainly should have been on the list. I also thought WKRP was missing too.

It appears that radio stations make for good comedy.

Seinfeld at number one? When it was good it was good. But many of the episodes were just plain silly and you could see the plot twists coming 10 miles away.

The best part about Three's Company, was there was such a wide variety of plots.

For several years I thought Rosanne was one of the best written shows on TV. But it ran out of gas quickly.

Sorry about the "…armed with a 12 gauge shotgun loaded with 00 buckshot".

That's okay. That response is like a silk shirt. It goes over well in just about every situation.
