I am glad happy that things went well and you have your precious son to hold.
I was thinking about this earlier today.
Prayers will continue for your poor sore wife and your brand new happy family!

Congrats on your new bundle of joy. May God keep all of you healthy and happy!!!! Be extra thoughtful to that awesome wife of yours, a c-section is tough and she'll need extra sweetness. :)

You forgot to remind him of the gift that should be beautifully wrapped and setting on her pillow! LOL! Heck, I would have loved anything on your list. Thank goodness my mom came to do that stuff. I was lucky my hubby didn't lose any of the kids while I was gone! I did request to stay as long as I could in the hospital with the third one. LOL!

Not all big babies are the result of gestational diabetes. All but the most irresponsible mothers are tested these days; it can be controlled.
When I had my first baby, he was 10 lbs. 12 oz. NO gestational diabetes, not even close. The second we took by C-section three weeks early (9 lbs. 8 oz) and the third again three weeks early by C-section (9 lbs. 7 oz.).
I learned AFTER I got pregnant with our first that my husband's dad was a 12 lb. baby (1929). He was an only child...
