Good evening FRiends. I wanted to share some good news with all of you. At 0741 today, my son Matthew Reagan, first and middle name respectively, was delivered via c-section three weeks ahead of schedule. Matt weighed in at 8 lbs 14 ozs and was a 20 incher. Mom is doing pretty well but is a bit sore and tired. Ironically, we found out mom was pregnant the same day I signed up on FR.
I'll be heading back to the hospital soon after I post this with supplies and this was the first opportunity today and most convenient way to let those of you who have been checking on the progress of my wife over the last few months and those of you who offered your prayers for God's guidance a safe delivery.
I am glad happy that things went well and you have your precious son to hold.
I was thinking about this earlier today.
Prayers will continue for your poor sore wife and your brand new happy family!
Great news and great name! I was thinking about your family this morning, and am glad you posted to let us know how things went. Prayers for you famliy.
You forgot to remind him of the gift that should be beautifully wrapped and setting on her pillow! LOL! Heck, I would have loved anything on your list. Thank goodness my mom came to do that stuff. I was lucky my hubby didn't lose any of the kids while I was gone! I did request to stay as long as I could in the hospital with the third one. LOL!
Congrats!
Welcome to the world little one. Congratulations and hugs for Mom and Dad.
Not all big babies are the result of gestational diabetes. All but the most irresponsible mothers are tested these days; it can be controlled.
When I had my first baby, he was 10 lbs. 12 oz. NO gestational diabetes, not even close. The second we took by C-section three weeks early (9 lbs. 8 oz) and the third again three weeks early by C-section (9 lbs. 7 oz.).
I learned AFTER I got pregnant with our first that my husband's dad was a 12 lb. baby (1929). He was an only child...
Congratulations!!! I am very glad everything went well.
I love the name Matthew Reagan.
LOL!!!!
Congratulations! Happiness is a new baby! The Lord's blessings on you, mom, and Matthew Reagan.
HOORAAAAAYYYYY! Congratulations to the Mom, Dad and the whole family. Including Mathew Reagan
