Best Republican-Themed Movies
Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate?
I agree. He was also great in Die-Hard, which might also
qualify for this thread. I also enjoy him as Professor
Snape, who I think is going to end up being one of the very
pivotal characters at the climax of the Harry Potter series.
Ayn Rand in movie form. Howard Roarke is one of my favorite characters in literature.

Why does that make the movie a Republican-Themed movie?
He refuses and goes on trial. A friend of mine reccommended it and so I got the DVD. Roark's speech in the courtroom had me out of my chair applauding in my living room.
"Back in the day, in Merry Olde England, there was a man named Robin of the Hood who would take from the rich and give to the poor. Though some praised it as noble it was still considered stealing.
Today in America we have the same thing. However, we call it Congress." --- Mad Dawgg
I thought Secondhand Lions had good Republican themes.
As Hub says:
"Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money, money and power mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil; and I want you to remember this, that love... true love never dies. You remember that, boy. You remember that. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. You see, a man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in."
That strikes me as quite Republican.
That plus the kid's mother strikes me so much as being like a modern Democrat.
It's important to go out with your boots on, a lesson we as Republicans seem to know better than Democrats during this War on Terror.
Self Reliance with Joy in your Heart.
CUTTIN' N KILLIN' ,...its a film about when linguini-spined Republicans voted and changed the filibuster rule,...oh,...sorry,...this movie is yet to be "green-lighted"
"The tax collector differs from Robin Hood because his robbery is legalized." -Charles Adams
Thats my take on the flick.
I am afraid to ask but here goes, why would he (or you) want to wash a snake?
I should write a bit more on why I like the movie The Sandpipers.
It has been a long time since I have seen it but to my best recollection, our hero, Steve, is a sailor in the US navy. He sacrifices all to rescue do gooder Candice Bergman and her missionary father during the Communist Chinese revolution.
My whole family loves this movie. Especially the fishing with shotguns scene.
I will gladly tell you why you would want to wash a snake. They need to be cleaned when in captivity to prevent parasites and skin problems. I was washing boa constrictors when he came in to the pet shop I managed to hide from women fans that were trying to find him in the shopping center were he and his then girlfriend were visiting. I didn't recognize him at first because he was short. I'm 5'9" and he was about my height. I had always thought of him as being taller. We had been chatting about 20 minutes when his girlfriend came in then they left.
My neighbor has a boa constrictor that I help him wash. No relation to Steve McQueen. He also has a rosy boa thats bit me a few clean-ups ago. I'm no snake expert but that little guy has a mean streak
Snakes, like people, have personalities. Some are laid back and some are cranky. Maybe your neighbor's snake is one of the crabby ones! The upside, constrictors aren't poisonous!
"Wait a tic... blimey, this redistribution of wealth is trickier than I thought."
Dude, Where's My Car?
