I would like to introduce you to my sister, Alexis the Bengal Kitty. She's a staunch conservative who has lurked ever since I signed up in April, 2001. She finally decided to take the plunge and join today.
Please go easy on her since this is her first time on a political board. Oh, did I mention she loves the information she finds on FReeRepublic?
The majority of our conversations revolve around things we've read on FR. She's been a bit nervous about signing up and participating because there are so many intelligent, articulate people on FR that she was afraid she might get zotted...not that she holds any opinions that would get her zotted.
Please make her feel welcome as only FReeRepublic can. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting her know she's found a home on the net.
Thanks again, Sally'sConcerns

You are so going to love him Glenn!!!

Welcome
Based on the number of trolls we've been plagued with, letters of introduction might not be such a bad idea.
Hey, that might be nice. Or a list the new posters could sign up on that would be posted each day/week, whatever, so we could welcome them.
Thanks. Here is their web site.
Oh! What a doll your new fur person is! If I hadn't just adopted the labrador retriever from he!!, I'd strongly give into the urge to add a sweetie like that to my household.
I'm replying a little late to this thread because my broken shoulder (courtesy of the lab) has been hurting quite abit.
Any name yet? You name your pets the same way I do. I wait until they exhibit some trait or until a name seems to fit them somehow. If I'd known then what I know now about the lab, she'd have an entirely different name. She was the first we ever named without taking a little time. Since Rufus (picture above) was the older we decided to call the lab Sissy in short for sister.
I can't wait for the day when my shoulder is completely healed and I can begin teaching Sissy some proper manners. The first one will be that paper towels and tissue paper are not all that much fun to shred and strew all over the house.
hottie!!!
