Looks like almost 12 hours of driving time from Coralville to Ft. Collins. Do you think they'd go that far in one day? My guess is they'll stop somewhere tonight and come in tomorrow morning.

Yeah...with the stops, it was about 12 hours even just to where we DID stop, in Sidney, NE. I toyed with the idea of going on, but Dad gave us a stern lecture before we left about driving while tired, and I thought we'd be safer stopping one last time. Worked out well, too - we got to see the mountains in morning light!

though I'm not very confident in my organizational skills

Rosie, look at all you have accomplished in three short months! You sold your house, placed animals you couldn't take, reduced your possessions to either mail or take in your van, drove half-way across the country without getting ticketed or getting in an accident, had two mini-moots... Should I go on or do you get the idea?

Your organizational skills are fine; you will be an asset to any organization smart enough to hire you.

:) (again)

As for ShootMoot, the boss has given me the time and I have apparently been granted a security clearance (since I didn't show up at EatMoot with a goalie mask and a Stihl) by the Lord of the Manor.

bittygirl update...

She figured out drinking from a straw today.

Now, she won't take a sippy-cup, and since she keeps taking her bottles apart, I bought her a sports bottle. It has a bendable straw that has a one-way valve on it preventing leakage. It took her all of a minute to figure it out. Let's see how long it takes her to figure out how to dismantle this one!

Vernors makes much more sense! I need to get a phone that's not so garbling.

It was probably good Rosie didn't come to club with me. It would have been hard to understand why exactly it was half of us decided to play a card game on the floor in front of the screen instead of watching the first two offerings. And our jokes were rather impenetrable...

LOL! I kinda like how that turned out. Kinda looks like an album cover of sorts.

If only I'd actually been looking at the camera...

oh - and then have some other moron try to stuff him in a box!

Yeah, I could see myself getting un-nerved if someone tried to do that to me!

Saw one of my favorite movies on Cinemax tonight, The Replacement Killers. Vey cool camerawork. I think it's a John Wu film, but I really like Chow Yun Fat. Mira Sorvino was good in it, too.

LoL! It's the Lord of the Manor who'll have the goalie mask!
