The Hobbit Hole XX - And take the hidden paths that run...
The Freeper Hobbit Hole ^

Posted on 03/05/2005 11:51:13 AM PST by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

And take the hidden paths that run...

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

What kind of 5.56? Saw a cool one in Guns'n'Ammo a while back, folds in half and uses M16 mags or its own which store in the buttstock, and the handguard can be deployed as a bipod.

...want...want...

Actually, I like my projos just a little bigger around. If I have to open up, I don't want my target walking around, as they have a nasty habit of wandering into view of Lawyuz.

April is Poetry Month

William Wordsworth
I Wandered Lonely As a Cloud

I WANDERED lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
The stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Outdid the sparkling waves in glee;
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company;
I gazed -- and gazed -- but little thought
What wealth to me the show had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Can you blame him?

He doesn't know how much he's loved yet, but he'll figure it out soon and work it to his advantage. ;-D

Homer: Hmmm...I want that hot dog. Oh! I know!
*makes pathetic eyes to ecurbh and sighs heavily*

Ecurbh: Wassamatta, poor fella? You hungry? Here, have a hot dog.

Homer: Works every time. *licks chops*

They sent him home with a different antifungal than I've used before. I like it, it's real watery like it will flow way down in. I did just put some in him... I figure, if not tonight, he'll have to wait till we dope him up tomorrow.
