I don't see why it would mess with Theology. Sounds believable to me! Many folks who have been with someone who is dying have said similar things, and have seen the peace that comes to that person. I have no trouble believing that someone we love, who had gone before, comes to lead us Home.
Just a carry over from something once said to me in the crusades. I didn't agree with them.
If you ever want to try a beer, I'd suggest a Belgian Wheat beer, or a domestic beer that's a wheat beer. They are lighter in color and in taste; not heavy like a dark ale. Sam Adams makes a 'Summer Ale' that has a hint of lemon in it; VEY refreshing on a hot day. They also have a new one that's good too, it's called 'Hefeweizen'. It's an unfiltered wheat, and it's yummy!
Thanks for the suggestions. I just figger there's enough likker in the world to get me drunk without trying beer.
Hope they can get in early so it won't be so rushed with your having to get to school.
*snort*
Oh, they should be here pretty early. Told 'em to call if they were going to be here before 8:30 so I'd have proper clothes on.
But you don't have to drink beer just to get drunk! It's great with pizza and burgers!! ;o)
Speaking of dying...
I just ran into Marci.... She said that Sue died last July of an undiagnosed MS/Parkinsons/ALS kind of degenerative disease. I called dad and told him.
Wow. That's really a stunner.
How's Marci doing?
She's fine.... she's married to a guy who's playing in a rock band in bars on weekends, so I think she is still in the life of a teenager.
She said Brennah's in high school.
Gulp. No way. [sigh]... I'm so old.
I know how he feels. Most of my days are like that.
Lookit those eyes! Poor baby. :-(
I don't blame you one bit, sis. Spoil him with love tonight. Tomorrow is soon enough for treatments.
Isn't he a pathetic sight? Breaks my heart!
ecurbh is sitting with him on the couch now.
He's prolly soooo relieved to see that you brought him back. No telling how many times he's been dumped in his lifetime.
And he's wondering what he did to deserve the trip to the vet's today. He wants to be sure he doesn't do it again.
His ears must feel so much better though.
Actually I think they hurt. I think the ear 'deep cleaning' has left him a little raw.
