You are the best pet owner. Homer is so lucky! He really is a fine dog, huh?
He's good unless you're trying to doctor him! You'd have thought we were trying to kill him just trying to get a look in his ears.

~hic~
Yeah, probably, but the problem is timing - I'm at school all stinkin' day tomorrow, so it's tricky.
Glad you had a good moot! Pictures or no pictures!
Hey, Lil...remember that time you posted all the things I could do? It tickled me but you need to add "plumber" to that list. You just would not believe.
The other day, the tub stopped draining. I ran the sink and it bubbled up into the tub. I ran the washing machine and it also bubbled up into the tub and it brought all kinds of really nasty nastiness up with it.
Now I can tell you, that nothing bothers me except sputum, you know? Nothing. But Steve, bless his heart, can not stand, well...he can't stand what was bubbling up into our tub and I'll just leave it at that.
So he was still at work and I called him and said "Take a shower before you come home...the pipes are plugged."
Then I went to work on that plumbing. I figured out that the clog was from the toilet. I plunged that toilet for an HOUR, all the while nastiness coming up into the tub. I took a little bucket and just bailed it out into a five gallon bucket.
FINALLY, the toilet made this hugh sucking sound and you could hear the drain clear! I flushed and flushed the toilet and it did beautifully.
I very carefully carried that five gallon bucket outside and then proceeded to clean up the bathroom. I santized the tub and the floor with clorox!
By the time I got done, Steve walked in the door. I said "I fixed the clog...go dig me a big hole." He went in the back yard and dug me a deep hole and I poured that bucket into it and covered it up.
When I came in, Steve was so grateful! LOL It was hysterical. He said "Thank you! Thank you!" and patted me on the back! I said "I'm filthy, you should go wash that hand."
Then I went and took a long scrub in the shower from head to toe!
Just remember anime is officially contraband - perhaps Rosie and I will convince you and Suzi to come out to Fort Collins for an Animoot some time. (psst: watch "Gankutsuou")
I hope they'll press on! It'll save them hotel money and us hassles. I offered to make curry if they'll make it tonight...
You think this was a one-time deal or do you think your septic issue is not yet fixed?
I think we've got something going on with our pipes. Not sure what, but it sure has been giving us grief. The septic seems to be working fine.
It did this a couple of times before...once right after we got the septic pumped out! I mean, it didn't even have anything in it!
But never this bad.
I dunno. It's working like a charm right now.
~sniff~ I hope my dog's OK!
Well, I hope you get no more nastiness in your tub!
Our failed drain field has been working fine lately ;~D Still waiting on permitting or something for the new one, I think.... the landlord never really talks to us ;~D
I am sure he thinks he's been sent to die. I said I'd be happy to keep him with me till the moment they were ready for him, but they gave me this 'oh brother' look and said he'd be fine in the kennel until it was time, and that they'd get to him right away.
But they don't know Homer! This will just cause more nightmares and far-away looks...
He was awfully pathetic and cute in the waiting area... carryin' on.
I guess it's all in what the definition of "failed" is. ;-D
I wonder...and I can't find any proof, but I wonder if it's Steve's talcum powder. He literally douses himself in the stuff and I griped so much about it being all over that he started putting it on in the shower...
The excess goes down the drain.
I dunno! everyone in the house getting enough fiber? ;~D
After the tub situation...I would say yes.
Heh...Steve couldn't have handled it. I knew he couldn't so that is why I wanted to get it done if possible before he got home.
Paying him back for all those runny noses he's wiped in the past. Yuck...I can't stand a runny nose. Taught my kids to blow their noses first thing! LOL
If the driving has gone well, you might be right! That would put them in Ft. Collins around 11 or so tonight, accounting for pit-stops etc. That wouldn't be too bad!
They'll be calling sometime this afternoon so I'll let you know then.
Just think how happy he'll be to see you again!
