Probably some Hell points for that. ;~D

Does being friends mean we must share ~everything~?
When in doubt... wildly misinterpret the requirements to be something really simple that compiles but is not useful. Then promise to fix it in Beta.
:-)
Deadlines, shmeadlines...
Italy would be fantastic.
Except that I heard to avoid Venice. My ex-boss went there and said he and his wife went on a romantic gondola ride and something terrible happened.
He leaned over to look into the water and saw a human turd float by.
~shudder~
Needless to say, that pretty much killed the "beautiful Venice" idea he had in his head for years.
But!
I got to see the sunrise over the *beautiful* Tularosa basin. *sigh* What a rare treat.
I got to see the biggest jackrabbit I have *ever* seen. I thought it was a coyote at first... but it was bigger than a coyote. And coyotes don't hop. Definately a jackrabbit. HUGE! (Must be a local Trinity-site subspecies...)
And I got to see a *huge* family of oryxes cross the road just in front of me. Lots of wittle baby oryxses... "little" is relative, of course.
I got to see the U.S. Army kick *** .
We finished our work early, so I get to go home early! Wahoo!
I came back to the hotel exhausted so for dinner I went back to that little Mom-n-pop Mex food place that I visited Monday nite. I called ahead then and left my name for a table. When I got there they said, "You must be Ms. 'Freeper!" I said, "Yeah!" and had a great dinner. First class service - sweet people. So I show up sunburnt and tired this evening and my waiter from Monday said, "Ms. 'Freeper! You came back!" I said, "You betcha!" and had a great dinner.
So if you're ever in Las Cruces, eat at El Comedor in Old Mesilla....
ROTFLMAO!
Evenin' folks. FWIW I'm vey series about the Grand Canyon trip. Been tryin' to figger out how to make it happen. And there's not another group I'd like to travel with more.
That said, Stormhands' evenin' update...
Didn't have choir tonite. But took the boys to their regular Wednesday evening stuff at church. Wife is with Nana (more in a minute).
Luke has said all day that his stomach hurts. He hasn't thrown up or otherwise, but he hasn't eaten much either. Personally, I'm thinking he's OD'd on Easter candy. Jr. "watched" him yesterday. When I got home, Luke had opened up about 4-5 dozen plastic Easter eggs that we had for the hunt. A good portion of the candy was gone. And let's just say we didn't spend any money on candy. We recycled his candy bag...some of it as old as last Christmas. He's resting on the couch now sippin' on some watered down Diet Coke, his beverage of choice.
Like I said, wife is still at the hospital with Nana. Apparently the Sunday night fall was not as event free as we had thought. Nana's right arm is all swollen and she can't lift a cup to her mouth (yes, she's right handed). Wife said tonite the arm was swollen enough that the plastic ID tag was cutting off the circulation. So, since the dinner time nurse didn't do anything while wife was gone transferring the boys to me, she went back.
She called about a half hour ago, they were gonna take Nana down for x-rays. Don't mess with a G.R.I.T.S.
Local sister has been worthless and has NOT been to see her Mom. She (sister) was telling me tonight her trials of being asked to bake a birthday cake for someone and that she has a baby shower to go to on Saturday. 'Scuse my langauge but BFD.
I only hope and pray she lives long enough to feel guilty for years...
Was supposed to take Friday off to paint the bathroom. But Rasputin and Boss Troll wanna meet with me on Friday, essentially to tell me how to fix stuff they've screwed up or dropped the ball on. So I'm takin' tomorrow off to paint instead. I figger if I start early enough I'll be done by noon and can get some yard work done.
Sire! The peasants are revolting!
[sigh] Yes, I know...
Oh... ~molting~... nevermind...
Cool website. Thanks for sharing the pix. I think great-auntie is a neat lady!
Cool pics. Thanks fer sharin'.
We saw HUGH jackrabbits in AZ too! And I ~did~ think they ran like a coyote! And could maybe be a fair match for one in a fight they were so big ;~D
Isn't she? That was funny.
I'm bouncing in my chair excited for you! That's one of my most favoritests places! ('course I'm vey biased....) I haven't been able to catch up with the thread - are you thinking road trip? or fly into AZ/UT and rent a car for touring?
Uhm, well, it was on from 8 to 10 Central time, which would have been 9 to 11 Eastern... so if you watched it 9 to 10 you saw the first hour.
Dang dude... hang in there. :-)
Was that a "Zone"? Or a "Night Gallery"?
This was bigger than any I've seen in AZ - it was almost like a small kangaroo. Maybe they've imported 'roos to white sands, too....
Sorry about Nana being hurt.... I didn't know about the fall, but I hope nothing is broken.
I was born in AZ, just drove within about 80 miles of it, and I've never been there.
Welcome back!
Great pictures, I'm glad you enjoyed your trip :o)
I've heard how beautiful New Mexico is, in a wind-swept desert kinda way.
If I ever make it there, I'll remember to stop by The Dining Room in Old Mesilla. *wink*
