I became a little weepy when he visited the Sikorsky (United Technologies) helicopter factory. He interviewed one woman who works on attachments for the main rotors of UH-60s. She stated that she works hard to make the attachments perfect because her son is flying UH-60s in Iraq.

Today he visited the place that made firefighter's gear. True American Hero Weep on this end.....

Ratzenberger's a good, all-American guy, and a Bush supporter, if I recall. I watch his show whenever I remember it's on. I'm never much for television to begin with, but I'd love to have his on DVD if it's ever released that way.

Remember how they portrayed Cliff on Cheers? Kind of a duffus
How about Frasier? A snotty boorish intellectual.
Then look how they portrayed Sam, Ted Danzen. The all-American guy.
I have to admit, I liked the show then, I look back now and say, WTF

how long before it's in reruns ? As far as I know, the Sat. shows are reruns, the Tues. shows are new, dependent on the season.

I want to see this show!
Someone has to pay the cable bill for me so I can get it.

Saw the show when John visited the Sturm Ruger plant. Learned that most of the internal mechanics of their rifles are poured and molded instead of machined. Very intersting show.
The Corvette Factory and Museum was very cool too!

I don't get cable either, mostly because I don't watch TV much anymore.

Some people can actually receive radio signals in their teeth.
I wonder what will happen to them when the analog TV signal dies...
