I do not know... not to my recollection. But IIRC both of them ended up going out by the same mechanism, delivering "my way or the highway" ultimatums and shortly thereafter finding themselves on US-1.

My point was that Mr. Hannity is using this 'infighting' with Free Republic to promote his website, which I understand is one to which you pay a subscription fee.

In essence, he's saying, conservatives should not fall into infighting as a way to back out of the mess he created.

Free Republic is a wonderful site, with varied opinions and though sometimes heated debate, the purpose is the same - seeking the truth and the facts Old Media deliberately omits. Mr. Hannity has besmirched that ideal to others who have not been here, placing Free Republic in the same category as DU.
