I'm sure today's program will open with a sincere apology for lumping the few "lunatic fringe who eat their own" among the many of intelligent, caring and principled people who contribute to the best forum on the internet.....FreeRepublic.com
Listen Online to Hannity's Program 3-6PM EST
To talk to Sean during the show, call 800.941.7326 during the hours of 3PM - 6PM EASTERN,

nope, not good.
...guilty.
I'll go with 'slow' from henceforth.
I still don't understand why Sean felt it was necessary to do this. "Eating their own?" That's what he just did to his friends. We did nothing to cause him to do what he did.
Yep, too bad.
And in those few minutes how many times has he shilled his latest book?
:)
Why I'll even bet some creative FReeper could even write a song about it! ;) You know like "Abraham, Martin, & Sean"?
(Sorry Doug, I couldn't resist)
*L* .. actually none ... yet
If there is no apology Hannity will be sorry. He'll always be remembered here on FR as someone who dissed this board/forum and all the posters. Not a good legacy. Not good marketing. Not a good reflection on himself.
I think he let some evil thought about FR get out his mouth when he really should not have said what he said. Two wrongs don't make a right.
Oh yes. I see.
Amen. Exactly.
Pretty good.
Thanks, I appreciate that.
But, what got me upset is: I am PROUD to be a FReeper. I think we FReepers make a difference, and I have learned so very much here from a lot of people, and in many different ways. It was lonely out there before I found this place.
I agree with you that FR has made a huge difference, but so has Sean, in the exact same things that matter to both of us! It has bothered me for a long time to read the petty criticisms of Sean on this site, things that don't matter one iota: that he promotes his book (so what? when you write a book you have to promote it), that his IQ is below par (really? how then is he #2 only to Rush?), etc. I've even read criticisms about him because he has such a picture-perfect home life. To me that smacks of jealousy, and nothing more.
So when Sean flicked us off the table, with a non-chalant brush of his hand I was hurt. The anger came later, but the first things I felt were hurt and diappointment.
I was disappointed to hear him say what he did also, because I knew it would simply egg on those here who have made such a game of making fun of him. It reminds me of the bullies in elementary school who make fun of the straight A guy in order to make themselves look better. It doesn't. It shows their true colors.
This is a great place to call home, and he sold us out selfishly.
I'm not sure that he did sell us out selfishly. I think he's been disappointed that a place that should be home to him also, isn't. Would you feel at home in a place that made fun of your IQ, of your home life, of your career, of your books, and so on? I sure wouldn't.

Wonder if it's to minimize freeper criticism of him using that word to a guest.
