I had no idea there was an active chapter of VAIW (new and improved version of VVAW) here in NJ. It does make a lot of sense now. A family member is a VFW. There are soldiers that have 'just returned from Iraq', that always show up and tell them stories that never jive with what I read here. Now I'm enlightened.

the libs are using Ritter because he used to be a republican, he's been in nj a few times and probably the only person to draw a crowd.  They are the saddest, meanest, and most angry people one would ever meet.  They are far from peaceful.   If you suffer from depression, a NJ peace seminar is the last place you would want to be unless you want to be pushed over the edge and commit suicide then it's the perfect place..  What a bunch of sour pusses.  where were these peace activists when Clinton started wars in Somalia and Kosovo?  Jan Barry writes for the Bergen Record as a freelancer.  They're a non issue, Bush won the election and all these frustrated peace activists know they lost, the party's over.  I bet there weren't more than 100 people statewide who were there.
