Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Tomorrow we may come this way...

New verse:

     |
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |

       |

       |

Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |

       |

Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Heh, mostly. UDub's star Nate Robinson is only 5'6", IIRC.

Good evening! Are you logged on?

Steve just called, he's on his way home from school. Said he got a lot done! That's good news! But it also means I gotta log off and spiff up the house real quick!

See you guys in the morning!

I'm going to pick up her son to take him and also pick up her daughter and let her hang out with me for a while. Give Celeste a couple of hours break. What a good friend you are!
I've been busy since lunch. Just got back from Clare's Girl Scout meeting and had supper. Now I'm enjoying a nice cup of decaf Cinnamon Hazelnut coffee. Mmmm.

Ohh, excitement! When you described the cops bringing little bags out, I was thinking dope, but you said they didn't arrest anyone, so I guess that's not right. Hmmm.

Well... I'm thinkin' that if I owned an elephant, I'd want one that was potty trained. I'm just sayin'...

I'd want one that was potty trained. I'm just sayin'...I'd say, it would depend on whether I have a sewer hookup or a septic tank...

    I should think so!

Can you imagine walking one of those things and having to pick up after it?

A hefty bag, a shovel and a wheelbarrow.

I'd say, it would depend on whether I have a sewer hookup or a septic tank... True. A special pit toilet with a really big one-holer is pretty much the only option if you're on a septic. A two-holer would be silly, except now that I think about it, who owns just one elephant? This is getting more complicated... and think of the toilet paper... you'd have to get one of those big newsprint rolls...
If you're on city sewer... they'd probly get wise pretty soon. You get one of those phonecalls from the sewer department... "hey buddy... we've had just about enough s#!+ outta you... "

wow, that's a rather unique picture. Yah... and he left the seat up. No amount of training can fix that. It's a guy thing. :-)

I'm not sure why, but when I saw that pic, I just knew I had to post it here.
Maybe I'm part Dwarf after all...

At least you brought life back to the dead thread.

It's been quiet in here lately. Rosie has no computer at home, Corin's traveling, hair and ecurbh are ~busy~ all the time.....*smile*
