Danny the online marketing hippie just got called to the boardroom *lol* What an insufferable moron. I'd fire him from a canon.

LOL, insufferable is right. I can't stand him. He thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread!

LOL I thought his reaction was classic, and pretty down to earth. I can't tell you how many times I heard that rumor.

Yep, but it doesn't mean he has class. Scooby Doo is a very successful and talented achiever, in marketing no less, but neither one of them will fit in with Trump's organization. He might do well, but he won't win.

Where did they get this guy? Just from looking at him, one would never figure he was college educated. There is another one on the book smarts team who looks slobish and unedcated, short and speaks with a Southern accent. FYI, I am in no way meaning people with Southern accents are slobish and uneducated. Just using that as identification.

There is one guy on the winning street smarts team who has a definite potty mouth. That will not serve him well if he hopes to be successful. Hope The Donald tell him to watch that mouth.

He's not a moron, but he's obviously different from everyone else. I sincerely doubt he'll win, but if you saw last night, you'd see that he's very articulate.

He was an embarrassment to his team with that half-assed blind man parade he was doing outside the BK, but that isn't why the team lost. They lost due to a meltdown at the cashier and the team leader didn't want to get his hands dirty.

The right guy got fired. From Todd's Bio:

He also is a successful restaurant entrepreneur.

A successfuly restaurant entrepreneur who doesn't know that the customers aren't going to wait in line for ever while the inept cashiers cause delays. He deserved to go.

I fell asleep and missed the first hour of the show. Do you know whether it will be replayed?

I saw enough to develop some contempt for Danny however, creep that he is.

When he said he does marketing presentations for Fortune 500 companies, I screamed... then he said ONLINE marketing which would explain how one can tolerate his repellant personality.

Okay, if Danny was such a marketing genious, how could he come up with that horrible marketing plan for the book smarts team.

Danny is awful!

On tonight's episode, starting at 8:30pm est: A Candidate Crumbles Under Pressure! (Someone apparently goes postal).

Recap of last week - week 1:

Judgment Day. Magna Corporation entered the boardroom and Trump said that, as a college graduate, he was a little embarrassed that the team of college grads was beaten by a team of high school grads. Trump got to the heart of the matter and said he heard that the team just didn't have enough people on the cash registers. Todd admitted that he had only two people trained to run the registers. George jumped in and said that the other team had three people trained on the cash registers. He said that Magna ought to be ashamed that they missed the basic point of having the ability to handle sales. Carolyn said she thought the promotion was "horrific." George said he couldn't tell what the team was trying to promote. Carolyn said that Danny looked like a street performer. Danny argued that he drew attention to the restaurant and got people in. But Carolyn countered that the job wasn't just to get people into the restaurant; it was to promote and sell the new burger the team had selected. Todd jumped in and called the marketing horrendous. Donald then questioned Danny's wardrobe and wondered if Danny could succeed in the Trump organization with the way he dresses. Verna agreed it would be a handicap. Erin said that while she loved the way Danny dresses, you have to dress in the right clothes to succeed in the corporate world. Trump went around the table and asked each candidate who they would fire. Todd, Verna, Bren, Alex, and even Stephanie (Danny's marketing partner) all said Danny. Kendra said Todd should be fired - but only because he couldn't control Danny. Danny said he would fire Todd because not enough people were trained on the cash registers. Todd picked Alex and Danny to come back to the boardroom to face the firing with him. The others on the team were safe... for at least one more week.

I predict Danny has a nuclear meltdown.

Danny is the designated "Omarosa".
He's good for a few more episodes.

Danny is the designated "Omarosa".

Danny obviously read Omarosa's book on how to succeed.

I wonder whether any of this season's crop of candidates will touch people's hearts and have us rooting for him/her. Any potential Troys in this group? I find this show rather silly without at least one appealing candidate.

I liked Troy too *LOL* In a bizarre twist I may end up rooting for Danny.
