On the West Coast it starts at 8:30 OUR time, on the East coast it's long over before ours starts.

So, who got fired?

Danny the online marketing hippie just got called to the boardroom *lol* What an insufferable moron. I'd fire him from a canon.

Danny really does deserve to go, I'd fire his a$$ in a heartbeat. I liked when Trump fired back at him "what do you do for corporations, play guitar?"

Todd got the axe for his inability to control a complete moron (i.e. Danny). Can't say that was a bad decision, but as a manager, I have to disagree since Todd didn't actually hire the little rat.

"So, who got fired"

Oh, now you don't expect me to reveal such information. Needless to say the winners are eating with Trump deep in the bowls of the 21 Club.

Danny deserved to be fired simply for being annoying, but I figured Trump would keep him around just for comic relief. He's this season's Sam. I wonder where he gets those awful leisure suits. Maybe the Salvation Army?

That or the red-headed "best friend" guy in the Dodge truck commercials...

Yep, I think you're right about that. I'm just wondering how that little creep made the cut. Guess they figured each season is going to need a new "Sam", and now they've got one.

I think Bow-tie guy has potential, even if he's not much to look at. His demeanor reminds me of Matlock.

Sounds like the wrong guy got fired. I guess I'll watch some of it, to see how much of a moron Danny really is.

Oh, you will NOT be disappointed. This guy is far worse than Sam IMHO.

Thanks for the ping, only saw the last hour. Todd's pink tie didn't help him with Trump. boohoo. He deserved to get fired. And from what I see a few more on the book smarts team are losers. Could Donald have stacked the street smart team with losers with degrees? It would boost his ratings for sure. They found out with Troy that people were rooting for a regular guy to win. We'll see.

Maybe, but the bowtie just screams not only gimmick, but unoriginality, too. Perhaps they started filming before Raj debuted in last season's first episode, but I kinda doubt it. IIRC they film 2-3 episodes a week.

I think we can probably eliminate several candidates based on just tonight's episode. Mr. F-bomb at the 21, Ms. The Simple Life-Philadelphia("Boo hoo, I don't want to be mean to anyone but I signed up for a cut-throat reality show"), and of course Scooby Doo clearly don't have it to go all the way. Also perhaps his passive except when complaining marketing partner, though she might redeem herself down the road. The Fast Food Expert is pretty annoying, too. Up until the boardroom I thought that Alex might have an excellent shot, and in fact he still can overcome an early mistake if he learns from it and performs well in the future.

Nope, the right guy got fired. There were several Bozo's who pretty much outed themselves, and (usually you can only fire just one per episode.) It is obvious that Scooby Doo will be axed at some point in the process.

It is interesting to see many "older" contestants.

I recall in an interview during the first series, Trump said, that he is looking for an "apprentice", people who are at the start of their careers, i.e. early to mid twenties.

In this set of candidates, only 3 out of the 18 are 25 or younger. Several are over 35 even.

I think they probably stacked the deck in favor of the Street Smarts, the Book Smarts team is not very impressive, and IIRC their schools and degrees don't come close to those of the last season. But there are a couple on the Book Smarts team who I could see winning "At the end of the day" (Anyone notice that this may be the first Apprentice episode ever to not have that phrases thrown out multiple times?)

You know, Mr F-bomb is a millionaire who made his money selling Glowsticks?
