My family and I are overwhelmed by all of the wonderful responses to my request for prayer for my son-in-law, Roy. His surgery went smoothly and he was home by supper on Friday. He is in pain, of course, but otherwise fine.
My daughter, who is an RN, will be home for the next couple of days to monitor for swelling, infection, etc. He will go in 2 weeks for a more permanent cast and then it should be all over except for the lengthy healing.
Thanks so much to all of you for your thoughts, prayers and good wishes. We appreciate it more than we can possibly say. Thank God for people like you and may He continue to bless all of us.
Carolyn

Sorry for not including you with my response to the others, but I kept trying to put an "s" between the "a" and the "g" and it didn't work! :^)

Another happy ending for a freeper prayer thread.....and, of course, for the patient! I'm sure y'all will have a great weekend for thanksgiving and some relaxation. Best wishes to you and your whole family.

Very good news. Give him some carrot juice, Carolyn, and he'll heal up, pronto.
Actually, though, your brocolli with an apple is pretty good, too.

Thank You Lord:')
You probably had a lot more praying than you know. I try to pray for the prayer requests I see but I don't always post.
