I would like to ask my FRiends to please pray for my husband's grandmother, Florence. She was admitted to the hospital tonight and the nurse indicated to me that maybe her time with us would be coming to an end. Please pray for my husband, as well. He loves her so.

Prayers going up for Florence, and your husband. Losing a grandmother is hard, especially if you've been close to her.

Thank you all so very much for all of your thoughtful prayers! I went to see Grandma Florence this morning and she looked wonderful! She is feeling much better and was bright and perky.
Praise God for small miracles! I know all of your prayers made a difference.

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that this beloved Grandmother has felt the touch of Your healing hand ... continue to sustain her in her physical needs, O God, unto the day of complete recovery. Give wisdom to those who care for her in the nursing home, that they might be quick to ward off any further assaults on her health. Thank You for the mercy You have shown her and those who love her ... we praise Your Name this day and forevermore. In the Name of Jesus, Amen ...

Another update and prayer request, if you all don't mind. Florence is now having trouble with dementia, I guess. She's been having daily "episodes" of confusion and wild stories. We're going to visit shortly and would really appreciate some prayers for her. When she is herself, she funny and fun to talk to - with such a cute sparkle in her eyes! We love her so much!
