My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I don't remember the song, but I am no whiz at remembering a specific artist unless I really like a song.

DAYDREAMS.....are but colorful rainbows; which make us look above a storm; until the wind subsides and vanish until we call upon them again.

Trench duty

Shaken from sleep, and numbed and scarce awake,
Out in the trench with three hours' watch to take,
I blunder through the splashing mirk; and then
Hear the gruff muttering voices of the men
Crouching in cabins candle-chinked with light.
Hark! There's the big bombardment on our right
Rumbling and bumping; and the dark's a glare
Of flickering horror in the sectors where
We raid the Boche; men waiting, stiff and chilled,
Or crawling on their bellies through the wire.
"What? Stretcher-bearers wanted? Some one killed?"
Five minutes ago I heard a sniper fire:
Why did he do it? ... Starlight overhead--
Blank stars. I'm wide-awake; and some chap's dead.
Siegfried Sassoon.

BOTTOM......If half way down is part way up then what is the bottom of the two. If half way down is the distance of part way up then part way way up is the bottom of the half way down. Therefor, part way up is the center of the half way down because the part way down is the middle of the part way up. Therefor the bottom is the half of both.:)

Was the Love Light?
Was the love light
in your eyes
a reflection
from the past...
or was it a
new and improved
version
you're peddling today?
I didn't do anything wrong
by loving you
but you're not
a loving type...
a taker you are
my vase is empty...
of emoluments
while the space narrows
for refilling...

As Stars Shine Down
As stars shine down
On lonely souls
We join as one
With hidden goals
To walk on shoals
of forbidden sands
to pluck the stars
from outer space
to grab a comets
tail and toss
it back without
regret to a
long lost soul
Old souls who
walk on soggy
paths of ancient
times and lore
To see the spirits
eye and howl from
a distant shore.
From whence the
old blood roamed
at will to plow
the way to me
to follow them
back in time
in loving memory
I will see the
home of my sires
before my fire
burns out
to skip a stone
on glacier land
and dance to kantele.
Then my desires
shall be met
I can grow old
and ache for
not having a
lover close to me
on the long walk home.
