The beauty I am searching for is inside, sometimes hidden by
atrocities...that beauty that no eye, no finger will ever be
able to perceive...that beauty that time is the only one
able to preserve...that beauty that is only released by
the heart...the rest slowly but surely perishes and is
therefore no good to me at all.

Good evening Ms. Feather. Good tunes tonight, thank you!
Good evening, ms. marlowe!!
Doing well, yes, thanks. Nice you can dine with your mom. I lost mine in '96.
It is heart-breaking to lose a parent. I lost my Dad in October. My Mom is a strong woman, and is doing okay, and I try to spend as much time with her as I can. I am fortunate that I live only a few miles from her.
Hahahahaha ~~ you hit my funny bones here now, don`t get me started! Uff`da!
I just got home from biking Florence, eating Pizza, even feeding Goats! At first I looked in here and thought I was seeing more goats! ja dere we arrre
You could make a cartoon book! We`d buy it and laugh!
ja surrrre vhee voud toooo!
We`d stand in line! lol
Laughter comes easy Helga.
Getting to know youuuuu ~~~
~ Oscar Hammerstein`s ~
Funny how a picture or a thought can bring a song floating in, I heard children laughing then this song began.
Children giggling
Simple laughter tickles hearts
Music round and round
What a beautiful surprise! It has been so long since I heard Slim Whittman and I especially love this song actually play.
What is really amazing is that earlier today I kept hearing in my mind a man singing in high pitch, almost yodeling and it just wouldn`t come to me, the song or the man`s name.
It was Cattle Call ~ Slim Whitman and I only realized it when I came in this room. His is one voice that can take me clear back to childhood. Happy days, his recordings played in the home. Indian Love Call is another good one. Such a unique voice. I bet if we thought on this we could name a dozen more.
Thank you so much for stitching it all together...amazing trails we`re traveling on ~ minds and hearts always connect somehow, especially through song ~
Thank you again for this one bf. *
You're welcome My Melody. It's a pleasure to have you in the Lair.
HUGS
We are sailing in a Strange Boat.

Such a beautiful writing. It touches inside.
It speaks volumes...
I am going to frame this pearl.
Thank you.
Yes, I thought it was very beautiful, too.

You have such a beautiful name.
I enjoyed your song last night by E. Clapton. I meant to tell you.
So you enjoyed dining on Italian tonight too! Isn`t it wonderful food. Italian`s make life happy, their laughter and music and fabulous food.
I too enjoy having my Mother close by. I cook special dinners for her and she so enjoys our time together, as do I.
What you wrote here might appear as few words shared in a sentence, yet your heart just sings like a bird. It brings smiles. You shared joy! Save your writing tonight that you posted here. I know it will always make you smile whenever you read it. :)
It is very nice to know you!
This is absolutely so Beautiful.
I was going to copy the words tonight.
You have wrapped them in hearts that are blooming.
This has heart eye and visable eye
See?
Thank you very much :)
Thank you for the invite and the welcome Helga,
Ja! this is an interesting boat we are in. I love sail ships.
There is a writing about ships, that I cannot remember the author nor to quote it exactly, only that sail ships can be beautiful standing in a safe harbor, but that is not what ships are built for ~
If I find it, I will post it.
ahoy! ~ ~ ~
Thank you Laurenmarlowe :)
I know exactly what you say here! Italian food is all so delicious, it is hard to choose!
I saved two writings that I read earlier today. Because we are all sharing so much tonight about food and together time, I would like to share them with everyone.
A journalist had written this in a past newspaper and I saved this piece in a file because I liked it. It belongs here tonight.
There was mention about all the Italian foods, then this;
"This was the Italy we wanted to share with our relatives, and as we gathered around the table, cracking jokes in between the bites of ravioli and spoonfuls of panna cotta, I knew this was the Italy we would all remember."
Another writing is by Liv Ullmann;
"We all need somebody to talk to. It would be good if we talked...not just pitter-patter, but real talk. We shouldn`t be so afraid, because most people really like this contact; that you show you are vulnerable makes them free to be vulnerable."
I enjoy the pitter-patter too, I will always be a kid inside. ;)
Thank you for sharing your kindness with me. :-)
Yes, LunaRed,
"OUR TROOPS!"
AMEN and THANK YOU ALL For KEEPING US SAFE so we can sing and eat in this day and share this night and be Home.
God Bless Each and Every One
I hope you know how to cook Italian LunaRed!
They will want Pizza and Ravioli and Bruschetta and slices of wild boar, prosciutto and cheese! Ah ~ Bells will ring ting-a-ling-a-ling- Ting-ling-a-ling and you`ll sing Vee-ta-bel-la ~~~
We forgot Speghetti!!
