[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Love is Everywhere ~ we only need to open our eyes to see it and our hearts to feel it ~

The special poem you saw was delivered by a white Dove this very morning, a very special gift, by a `True Friend` I am blessed to know.

I`ve been trying to learn this one;

I know this one is;

I forget when this was written, but I have had it for years, maybe the 50`s judging how the priorities are listed from 1 to 10. It is interesting;

4. Protect the weak and help them

5. Be brave but never take chances

6. Study hard and learn all you can

7. Be kind to Animals and take care of them

8. Eat all your food and never waste any

10. Always respect our flag and our Country

If this were written today the numbers would be completely changed around. Remember the 50`s early 60`s, how wholesome life was? "Be neat and clean" echoes in my mind, so does "Be courteous and polite" ~ Thank you Mom. ~
