[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Storm..... Through the clouds pierced rays of light, shafts of glory gold from heaven and the lighting illuminated the sky with white sharp arrows and mighty thunder rumbled as if commands from a voice invisible.

my pearls in opalescent glow
opaque and dense, a phantom deep


Polaris directed true to you...


Shine me in the night skies...
be my night light, show your colors...
two separate souls can be one...
sparkle in dawning sun...
velvet blue black night
paint my color blue for you...

Can I forget to remember
the first time we met
our eyes held one another
in a magnetic grip
drawn to your gentle features
warm brown eyes
a little crooked smile
that lit up the room
set my heart and soul on fire for you...

Can I remember to forget
you are not with me now
or I ache for you, your voice
your tender touch...
how I ache for the warmth of you
how I want you to be beside me now
your pillow is cold...

I am hollow and empty
Can I remember to forget
how much you loved me
or much I love you...
can I forget to remember
or remember to forget

Should we meet again
would you remember
or have you forgotten
how to forget, too...

Genesis Chapter 3..... Now the serpent was more subtil than any other beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman.Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent. We may may eat of the trees of the garden. But of the fruit which is in the midst of the garden. God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave it also unto her husband with her: and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day; and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
