IF we saw the PICs, we'd keep that in mind!!!!!
Morning ALL - sipping coffee, reading the paper, looking for yellow face, all in all, just about right.
Snowbound-icebound in the far northern lands : stay safe and stay warm.
Good morning! It's still green over here... I'm kinda disappointed that we didn't get any snow. I got those new snow boots and everything. :-(
But y'all are getting more than just a little bit. Sounds like it is in the "too much" category.
Like I've always said: I'd rather be lucky than good. :-)
Good morning!
No snow last night, but drifting and the city snowplow wreaked almost as much havoc. Blew knee-high snow from the middle of the street onto the lawn, so when/if the snowplow comes buy, I will only have to battle a three-foot, rather than six-foot, wall of snow in the driveway.
Intense sun out there, so sunglasses were a "must", even if they were fogged all the time.
Gonna get some pictures later today after the wind stops blowing. According to our little snowman measuring device outside, we've had 17" of snow so far and it's still coming down. So glad there was no need to get out today, cause there's no way THAT'S happenin! I'll take some pictures when SSQ goes out later to throw the snow off the driveway.
I was looking forward to hearing you are safe... was concerned about those winds for you... I know some areas of the country get high winds routinely, but I think Mass is probably as poorly designed for high winds as we are in the NW. Do you have tall trees where you are?
Heh.... those hard as stone walls of snow from the plows are the hardest part of getting out aren't they?
tag...
Has anybody heard from Rosie? Is she getting enough snow now?
I bet she'd say she has enough snow....
Her computer still may not be set up at home... she had it taken apart to paint in there. That's why she might be missing.
Our Pics!
Sauropod took this one of us.
Here we are at the sign.
This is a photoshop composite. :)

Here's Michael Graham of WMAL (in DC) opening things up.
The Iraqis speaking about the re-election of Pres. Bush
The opening act. I forget the guy's name but he was a fabulous impersonator. He did Sinatra, Dean Martin, Louis Armstrong, and Ray Charles. (He spiced up the lyrics a bit to suit the occasion, too.)

...And last but not least, *one* picture of me that turned out purty good: http://users.zoominternet.net/~obrienkl/2005/FRBall/2005Ball_LF1.jpg
I'll think about posting these to the main thread later on. I also need to take a picture of the shoes.
You guys look fabulous all dressed up! Is the dress velvet? Big ol doesn't looks as 'big ol' as I would have imagined with such a name!
Nice pics!
It looks like if we had gone to the ball we would have had to buy full length attire.
Very lovely dress; you both look wonderful! Looks like it was a great party!! LSA
Lil' always makes me look good!
There was an entire spectrum of dress. Men in business wear to tuxes. Ladies in nice slacks to slinky sequin thingies. And everything in between. There was one gal there in jeans and a plain shirt, but she was festooned with cameras and camera bags and flashes and such.
You're so sweeet. *smooch*
Well, that was such a good answer! I was picturing a big ol bear of a guy!
He's cuddly just the same. I think at the time he was posting on the board more often than I, but now, I post more than he does.
