This Must Stop! (But how *can* it stop, if everyone keeps bumping?)

Almost everywhere I go lately I see people picking their teeth of I assume plaque/food and sometimes flicking it away from them. Even when they don't flick it these people push elevator buttons I push, type on computer keyboards I use, and push doors I push. Where did this come from? It's like picking your teeth in public with your bare hands in the latest trend. In fact, I am in a computer lab on campus sitting next to some mofo picking his teeth as I type this -- seriously. This is gross and it must stop. Do people realize they are spreading their germs? Many more people need to make a big fuss about this!

I would say,unequivocally, that whenever someone appears to be flicking pickings from between their teeth on the end of a toothpickin implement-or if they are picking and flipping boogers from their bulbous noses at innocent bystanders, then I would move away from these barbarians.

That being said, I feel certain I could write a lengthy dissertation on the hundreds of areas where the tanking of our culture is taking place.

I truly believe that you should delve into these other truly egregious encroachments on polite society.

My work 'cube' happens to be next to the mens room. I can tell you who washes their hands and who doesn't. The ratio is staggering...I'd say 1 out of 10 men do. Women don't have to touch themselves...me do...grosses me out. I apologize for the unpleasant visions...it had to be said.

We had a list going around the office once of who did and didn't wash their hands after using the bathroom. That we always knew what food to avoid when they dug their hands into it.

Well I got a guy that sits next to me in my open area desk environment that likes to clip his fingernails, I'd say it's an obsession with him. At first (when we had cubes) I thought it was just his mouse clicking loudly. Talk about gross, but then again I just bite mine.
